Dušan Paunovic built on his trademark brand of androgynous seduction with roomy jackets and loose-fitting trousers rendered in refined shades of black, blue, white in simple, classic designs. “It’s not easy being a minimalist,” says Dušan, the designer of the Milan-based collection.The Serbian designer got his start working for his countryman Zoran, a designer’s designer who’s never wavered from his own brand of spare minimalism. Like Zoran, Paunovic put his emphasis on fine fabrics with an obsessive attention to fabric and to fit.
